Great Lakes Architecture of Sustainability

    The G.L.A.S. Studio at Adam J. Trott Architect was created to focus on design of sustainable architecture that is specifically relevant to our Great Lakes Region. Our region offers a context for design that is unique to any other part of the world. The abundant assets available in our region include access to the largest reservoir of fresh water in the world (outside the polar ice caps), a tempered climate, all forms of transportation networks, ample power grid, unique wildlife species, vibrant ecosystems, and fertile agriculture soils. These assets and others provide an opportunity for intelligent sustainable design that should be pursued to the greatest extent possible.
