446 Square Feet Existing Building Renovated
         + 2,352 Square Feet Addition

July 2007

Mr. Trott was not "Architect of Record" but designed and managed this project while a Partner at Thomas J. Freeman Architect PC.

This project involved erecting a detached 2-story building for additional domestic abuse shelter beds.  Colors and durability for the interior surfaces was important to provide a durable, yet therapeutic atmosphere for the residents as they go through their traumatic event.  The local Art Museum provided artwork for the various spaces that was coordinated with the colors.  A handicapped bedroom with an accessible bathroom was included in the first floor plan.  The entire first floor is accessible, including the kitchen.
