Statement: Mr. Trott was not "Architect of Record" but designed and managed this project while a Partner at Thomas J. Freeman Architect PC.
Narrative: Substantial renovations and an addition were designed to convert an outdated and vacated 2,245 square foot medical clinic building into an attractive 2,638 square foot Federal Credit Union branch office with a 393 square foot drive-up canopy. The site is a small corner lot that was designed into a workable drive-thru layout. The building exterior respects both the commercial street on the front and the residential neighborhood behind using brick, cast stone, and hipped roof forms. The interior is a colorful and energized space using glass block, black-out ceiling, neon and LED lighting, creative millwork, and marketing elements for a unique "banking" experience.
